Peony Divisions

In July, we will download more photos of our available cultivars.  We will try to have photographs that compare with the three available coral peonies.

Our list of available cultivars for fall of 2004 includes:

Coral Charm: Semi-double hybrid.  Coral/pink.  As of the moment, this is the most common coral peony in the cut flower market.  It is the latest in the season of the corals used as a cut.

Pink Hawaiian Coral: Semi-double hybrid.  Coral/pink.  The first true coral used for a cut to bloom.

Coral Sunset: Semi-double.  The closest to a double of the coral peonies.  Some think that this is by far the best.

Coral & Gold: Single.  Large coral flowers with strong yellow center of stamens.  More popular with designers and florists than with wholesalers.

Bowl of Cream:  A pure white double with no other colors.  Large blooms.  A relatively slow grower but the quality of the blossoms compensate.

Cytherea: A semi-double hybrid that opens brilliant watermelon red and slowly fades to salmon.

Duchesse de Nemours: Relatively small (5”) blossoms, double white.  The buds are white.  The open white flower has a yellow glow in the center.  Throws a lot of stems. Appreciated as a cut flower because it has no traces of red or streaks of red.

Sarah Bernhardt: A light pink double peony.  Beautiful form.  Throws a lot of stems.  A production peony.  The market is sometimes overloaded and its price depressed.

And more...  Please contact us for a list. Minimum total order: 100 divisions.  Minimum per variety: 25 divisions.
